Sat Nav mounting bracket

Morning all.

Can anyone please suggest a decent dash-mount bracket for Ph.2 172's? The one I have been using never really fitted correctly and has now decided to completely give up and has forced me to use sticky pads, which isn't ideal.

I spotted one that fits in between the dash and the central vents and another which slides between the head unit and the HU cage.

Any recommendations please.

an old tomtom 500, I've got the full integration kit which looms into the head-unit, just need something to screw the swivel-bracket onto that wont fall off if I open the glovebox
