Saturday - 172 Brake Change

This saturday I am attempting to change our lasses wagon's front disks and pads. Whilst set for the task, I seem to recall a guide being posted on here with pictures, in the early days? or have I got that from the Seat forum? :S
Anyway, if there is one, could someone enlighten me as to its location, as i've had a look, but found nuffin.

there is one somewhere, although i found it was pretty easy to work out yourself, other than thinkin i had to undo the hub nut when all i needed was a good hammer to get the old disks off.

ull need to remove the caliper bracket too though, which is piss easy

Mate, have you got the aux/cambelt guide too? might aswell swot up on that, even though, my old man is doing it.

Get yourself a can of brake cleaner, it will save all that carcinogenic dust getting in you lungs and will clean the protective grease film off the new discs without contaminating the pads.
