My rear bumper is pretty bad, I think the previous owner had a dog and its scratched where it may have jumped into to boot. Had it machine polished but didn't make much difference as the scratches came back after a while.

Any other ideas?

If it's getting a respray anyway, you could try touching it up. If you f**k up, it won't matter.

You could try using some very fine wet and dry on them, see if that helps.

Whats the deak with wet and dry, sand it down, then polish, paint, tcut?
I think ill give touch up a shot and see what happens.

You get some wet and dry paper and dip it in water then rub the surface with it making sure you keep the paper wet.

Hi, where are you based?

Luke, shhh ;)

edit; the reason I ask is because I am willing to bet that I could make those look 100 times better!

you could try 3M ultra cutting compound grade 50417,
you can get it from a good motor factors that stock 3M products. needs to be rubed hard but be carefull not to cut too hard as to go through paint if that makes any sense. then a good polish.
could be worth a try ;)
