Search for the valver continues

I have got the money for my valver ready, but still havent seen anything that I really want!!

Must be Blue/Black

Mileage preferably under 90K, but up to 100k really. Dont wanna buy a car with an engine with loadsa work required either.

Dont want Leather. FSH deinately wanted though.

Nothing in my area is really up for sale at the moment. (Norfolk) Looks like Im gonna have to travel quite a bit to look at them. Just dont wanna go all that way and realise its a sh*tter.

I hate waiting and am finding it hard to be patient. Been a week and a half so far!

You had exactly the same wanted spec as me.. when I was looking.

After traveling miles across the country, and seeing absolute sheds (I was looking at £2500/£3000 Valvers, too..) I gave up and started looking for a Williams. (On advice of, um, everyone.. heh)

Very rare to get an absolutly mint Valver nowdays.. Best bet is to get a cheaper one and make it mint..

Who cares about colour, if the silver one is as good as it looks and sounds its a bargin!!

i held out for 2 months for a standard one,
i was looking to pay up to 4k for one !!

i managed to look at 4 in total, a black early phase 2 L reg with only 22k on it !!! my god it was bad !!

then i got my blue valver, which cost 3600.00, i ended up getting it from surrey (i live in romford) so it wernt too bad, the plus side is that its got factory leather & had the cambelt done before i got it, that was 2 years ago & nothing went wrong till feb this year.

since feb, i have spent a sh*t load on it !! (including a new engine after the oil pressure pump gave up & a few other things, its also had a new clutch too)

as glenn said, its deffo worth holding out for the right one.
