Seat tilt cable

Hi all

The cable on the NS seat tilt has snapped. I can see that it has snapped right near the handle. If I go to the dealers and get a new cable, is it easy enough to feed through the seat and out the bottom. Are they expensive, would I get them cheaper elsewhere?

Is this the cable which tilts the seat so people can get in the back? If so its what I need aswell but didn't want to rush out and buy one incase it was the wrong part. Seen a few on eBay a few days ago for around £12.

Think they're a pain in the ass to fit.

IIRC the end of the cable has a steel ball on to stop it slipping through the bit that holds it.

£40 for a new one.. lol. Oh well.

massive ball ache to fit one of these, I did it on my drivers seat that had snapped, it would be easier if the handle comes off on the top but its riveted on. youll probably need a draw wire to poke down the back and fish it up, thats what I did.
