serv/airbag light with st/wheel change?

I've just changed over my steering wheel on my 182. I followed the guide on here. Disconnected battery for 45 mins. Prised off the airbag. Disconected the 2 clips. Disconnected the 2 connections in the steering wheel. Undid the torx screw. Removed the steering wheel. Swapped over the cruis control buttons. Fitted the new wheel with the original airbag. Wired everything back up. Reconnected the battery and turned the car on and now the airbag/serv lights are staying on - I need help on what to check please? have I missed something out?

you put another 182 wheel on or aftermarket one joe?

Looking at the wheel I have taken off there is what appares to be an earth clip on the left?!? can anyone confirm this as I don't remember seeing one on the wheel that I have just fitted - could that give a fault signal?!?

yes probably, was it a 182 wheel or an earlier one (172) i'm not much help really lol!

Sorted it - the bottom connection wasn't pushed in all the way to the airbag!
