What kind of money are people paying for a full service on a 182 (including brake fluid and anti freeze)?

The reason I ask is that I have been quoted a price from a Renault specialist that has come out more expensive than a Renault main dealer??

Just been looking at Fred's BTM page and looks like I might be heading up Brum for my service!! Even with the cost of fuel getting there it will be cheaper than the 2 quotes I have got down here!!

I was quoted £380 for a service with a brake fluid and coolant change by a specialist and then slightly less by a Renault main dealer.. Sounded steep hence why I posted this. To be honest I've only just become a full member on here and didn't look at the traders section before posting this thread. The best offer at the moment if you want you're belts done is MWM in Staines. They are offering a free full service when you have the belts done. However this offer ends at the end of this month.

we'd be £200 give or take for 12k + coolant + brake fluid at the current 10% off price (that's all renault parts too)

I think I'm going to look to get the belts done in January and then the service in Feb. when I got the car there was a receipt to say they'd been done but for peace of mind I want then done as a priority. Fred I wish you were closer to me!!!

Excluding parts, how much is fitting (inc vat) for

Cambelt kit (including cam seals?)
Aux belt kit and water pump

We generally don't fit customer supplied cambelt/aux kits or dephasers/waterpumps etc, not because of money reasons, but what happens "if" something were to go wrong in the first 12months? You'd blame me and i'd blame the parts - ie a nightmare, plus my insurance company wouldn't be interested

we'll do it, but you won't have ANY warranty from us, plus the labour will cost you more as we discount it in our cambelt set prices
