Should i buy a cd changer from america

right i was looking at getting this 10 disc sony MP3 changer to go with my mini disc headunit.

The thing is i am concerned about two things, having to pay an extra duty charge on top of the £180 and whether the manufacturers warranty will be valid in this country. Has anyone bought from america before? I would get it from England but its not even out here yet!

once you have paid VAT, delivery etc on top of the 139, it would have been cheaper to buy on over here
