Should I buy a machine polisher? OR do it by hand?

  inferno 182.
hi there!!
why buy a polisher and all the products????
take at to a local bodyshop and ask for a full body polish!
pitty your so far away as we do one for £150! this will remove all minor scratches and all swirl marks and would get a full coat of wax and valet on completion.better somone pro do as you could end up burnning through the paint and this would cost alot more to put right!!!

Oh my...

He's a Bodyshop supervisor.

I look forward to future threads on here.

I've heard some body shops are now offering to correct their own work. All at the customers' expense of course.

A full detail for £150 by a body shop or £500+ by a detailer? Is there any question. BWAB incorparated.

I became a BWAB on Monday and didn't enjoy one minute of it, was some satisfaction in the final results, but it's not my car so just wanted it finished. And it had been in the body shop for work, as the DA trails / scratches left along the door / front wing were horrendous. I told her about it, cleaned it thoroughly and used a pre wax cleanser and sealant and left it at that. I told her I wouldn't touch the scratches.
