dude - sound is spot on...if you watch films on full volume every night, then go get a sound system to go with the TV, but, if not, the sound is perfect!

I purchased a samsung le32r74bd and the picture is spot on. As it has a digital out and I run all audio through my 5.1, the sound issue was not a concern.

The sound is slightly tinny on them, but who buys a large flat panel to listen to sound through the normal speakers?

the sound on mine is fantastic... really and truely.

i read that due to the speakers facing downward... the sound is not directed toward you as much as other units... but thats a load of b****cks.

Full blast, its ear bursting and does not distort one bit!!
