Simota induction

Hi all I'm a newbie to the site and not sure if this is the right place for this thread but here goes, I've got a full simota carbon fibre induction kit on my 05 plate 182 I'm running a full stainless Longlife custom made exhaust including de-cat and stainless comp manifold with a remap to compliment mods. Am i gaining any extra bhp with induction kit over standard airbox as I would like the car to be a bit quieter so if there's no improvement I can look for a standard unit to go back on thanks all

You won't loose any power putting the standard air box back in with a quality panel filter, may even gain to be honest..

Cheers mate putting induction kit up for sale now will have to try and locate standard one with pipes now

The same kit which sits up against the slam panel and draws its air supply from the rad? These were meant to be the opposite, bad not good.

Looking at most peoples opinions I've purchased a standard airbox now just undecided on brand of panel filter to use. simota on eBay at moment gonna be heading for a new home cheers for your views peeps
