Mate they look really professional looks like someones gunna be a concept designer when they get a career go work for Lambo or Aston those drawings are quite something.
just practice i suppose mate, i dont practice enough really! should be sketching at least an hour a day and i only do 2-3 hours a week...so lazy :nono:
Preview of some work i'm doing for someone on here at the minute, it's for his dad's birthday! Got another hour or two til i finish it off still a load of work to be done
if these are free hand drawn then good work mate, mik at the studio who copies up all of our designs onto outline paper before we tattoo clients does cars but he gets a pic and photocopies it and lightens it enough so theres barely anything there then draws it all in the shades it, just finished a cossie for a friend which looked spot on but if it aint free hand it aint drawing! i should put some of my drawing and paintings up arty posts!
I know what your saying mate, The clio and Aston were both done using 'underlays', which means using a photo or previous sketch to base your new sketch on. It saves time and makes sense, the car underneath the landrover i drew entirely from scratch, so all i am doing is saving time by using an underlay, just so nobody thinks i am basically 'tracing', christ i hate that word.
I'd love to see your work mate, crack another thread up
Some treuly awesome pics there mate....When you get the selling up and going give me a shout or get posting... i'll send you a pic and maybe you could do that??
yea it isnt tracing but obv if its what your learning you should progress with it, my friend emma is doing technical illustration or something at uni and shes drawing some mad stuff up, everything requires a different technique and tools and plenty of experience! i'd like to see future drawings in around another year you'll look back at your work and see the progress
