SM intake fitting (Do i need any additional parts)

Afternoon all,

After a few drinks on Saturday i ordered myself the sm intake from ebay (price just dropped btw) for my ph2 172

I've looked through the previous threads but wanted to check if anyone knows of another parts i'll need to fit it or get the best from it.

Cheers, I've got a filter from my inductio kit, does it not come with the hose??

I haven't looked at it yet, but I've seen you say this a few times. How did you mod it? Just cut it back a bit?

You dont *need* to modify the stat housing intake. The SM intake manifold does sit very close to the hose but doesn't touch it, well it didn't on my trial fit i done with mine

cut a wedge out of it and get it welded back on but angled down slightly.
