Hello all, this is my first post on ClioSport and I hope it not to be the last either.

Al start by introducing myself I suppose, my name is Paul but I have been known as Smokey all my days and I come from the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland.
A few days ago while hunting a different car to my 1.4 Astra I spied a clio 172 on Gumtree near me for £695. It needed some work done body wise and upon reading the advert I convinced myself I should look into it and I asked my mate who deals in 5 turbos if he thought it was a good enough deal and he thought so as well so the next day we went through and it sounded like a tensioner was on its way out but after a quick blast I decided I was having it and got it for £580 and a shafting from the insurance.
I ended up getting it legal and making a list of s**t to change and the timing belt and tensioners are getting changed first as well as an alternator belt too. I shall be getting rid of the ac as soon as I can too but my first thing I had to change was the crap steering wheel which looks like it was from asda or b an m hahaha, pics to follow

Hi, it was because i ate a lot of smokey bacon crisps when i was younger but now its because i am red eyed a lot

Aye they are indeed Exclusive wheels thaty someone previously sprayed black without masking anything up so the brakes and tyres all got a shite coat of black spray paint, i will be painting them silver again properly before swapping or selling them to an exclusive owner, I dont really like them too much i prefer the OZ's and missed out on 2 sets already so will wait a while and see if i source new wheels
