not too sure on this myself. the sunroof he's referring to is the natural flex the car has on its standard suspension. on lowering the car you stiffen the car up, and with a cage / strut bars you stiffen it further so the flex on the sunroof seals is stronger and can 'theoretically' pop the sunroof out. not heard of it happening on a clio, but my old sunroof used to flex a fair bit on its coils without any strut braces.

I think it was something to do with there being more flex in the chassis because of the sunroof and because the struts are fixed in place it can cause them to bend.

spoiler off a pal for £30... had to get it painted... grill from renault £30 on master file
