Sneaky natural pics

no not like sneaky nude pics.

ive been asked to do some photography for JTS this weekend at silverstone.

mostly focusing on the people, the atmosphere etc rather than the cars.
ive never done anything for someone else before if u get me lol

soooo im thinking my 35-105 lens will be best as it means i can stay lurking and take pics without people realising hehe

anyone any suggestions for capturing atmosphere as i think thats the hard part?

One small but important thing that I struggle with...look confident.

If you're actually sneaking around trying to grab pics unknowingly, people pick up on that and immediately stop acting naturally. If you stand there in plain view and snap away confidently you will be surprised by how few people are actually bothered (or even notice), particuarly at an event where they waive their right to be photographed anyway.

Will you have a pass/bib, just incase anybody does question you?

^^^ exactly, people get suspicious if you are hovering, if you make your presence known people will stop caring that you are there and relax
