'Soft' Coilovers

Going down a particularly 'interesting' lane yesterday I entered a off camber right hander at around 70mph and could hear a strange rubbing sounds. Once parked up I noticed that I've 'shaved' a layer off one side of my splitter (basically through the laquer and down to the weave). I presume this is down to the suspension being a touch too soft. Has anyone at any point either replaced the springs offered in coilover kits for a harder ones or put a different weight of oil in the dampers to stiffen this us, or tried another method? Stronger anti roll bars etc? I'm currently running the standard Bilstien setup which has done 5k on the car now.

Hello mate,
Ive never noticed my H&R's feeling soft quite the opposite in fact. But when i had it low it did bounce around a hell of alot and heard a few noises from the suspension perhaps hitting bump stops esp down the B660. You may have a suspect damper get Andy to check it. Or try raising it slightly to avoid any more splitter damage.
Why you selling it ?

Soft Coilovers.....not much chance of that. My FK's are too hard for daily road use. They werte on car when purchased so i'll have to live with em for some time yet. If you are running them low, the car will still lean at speed and bumps will make it even worse. As you can see in the pic below, plenty of lean at around 60mph and no bumps and mines not that low either....
