So if anyone from bridgey wants to tag along then rather than come to taunton just to turn around and go back again then they can just wait in the layby on puriton hill a couple miles from J23 of the M5 along the A39 and we'll be past at about 6:20 - 6:30 or so:

Cool, how much have you got left to do? Will you it be ready for that track day next week? It'll be good to see it when it's done.

Got LOADS left to do still mate, engine from the blue one is physically in the hole and Ive started on a lot of other jobs, but its still a long long way from finished.


Havent finished making the engine loom yet, and until thats done I cant even create a base map for the ECU let along start actually mapping it.

Havent finished installing the dash and data logger

Havent mounted the pedals

Havent finished the gear lever move

Dont currently have a fuel pump.

No radiator or water pipes on yet.

Not welded in mounts for passenger seat

Not finished mounts for drivers eat



Lots of other smaller bits as well, and I really do mean lots, like probably 20 or so other things to do still.


I do have a 4 day weekend to sort it though, so thats something. And im "working from home" tomorrow and friday, so hoping to spend most of that in the garage not actually working, lol

If you fancy popping round my old mans house (where the car is) and giving me a hand though feel free, lol

stone chips are pretty bad, was a cracking hack down those roads though so at least they were got in a fun way , lol

Yeah I've washed all the flys away now and it looks like I didn't get too many chips, just the one on the front diamond, I'm having trouble respraying it as I've never sprayed anything before, I'm on the second attempt which is lookin ok atm.

I have just been reading through my first post on CS, and there was discussion of a meet, which turned out to be this one (unfortunately I couldn't make it which was a bummer!) but I feel like I have missed out! So are people willing for round 2, as there was quite a it of interest back then!
