Ive only had it a few days but i love it! As far as i can tell that has no obvious features over mine, its just blue. Tbh you dont even really see the red bits. I only paid 55 quid for mine a week ago, how much were you buying that for?

Theres nothing wrong with sony, that guys a fool.. this headunit really is good.

im a fool sure...the 4 makes that i stated only do audio,sony make great tv's but aint the best for hu's,your choice,youd soon realise if you compared the two-unamped ofcourse!

ive got one of these in my escort estate ! mp3 player good fancy pictures flashing up i cant fault it and had it about 2 yrs looks good. cheap now on e-bay was 300 when i bought it.

Sony can make cheap & cheerful Audio equipment - they don't put as much into their product as Alpine and the likes would do, therefore the quality of their product isn't what a lot of people expect.

On a budget they would do the job - waaaaay better than Kenwood & JVC.

Alpine Becker and Pioneer would be the leading make of HU's

I personally dont like Sony headunits, that one does look quite nice tho. I always found sony ones to be a bit tacky tbh. that could well be different tho.

Sorry mate, I don't mean ALL their stuff, I just mean they can make a lot of it. What I'm saying is Sony (and others) would invest more into making an average product look attractive with eye-catching functions rather than putting the efforts into the quality.

Yes, they make excellent TV's but I couldn't see a 42" Bravia in a Clio somehow :nono:

Oh yeh fair enough. To the original poster though, for the prices these headunits are flogging for on ebay I cant really see anything better
