I am currently looking at one of these. My business is robot programming & software, which means I spend my working life in car plants. I have a 17" power laptop which I use for writing code (need the screen size) but I need a tiny machine with amazing battery life for extreme portability when connecting to dozens of robots all over the place for backing up and uploading modules/files etc.
So - I've almost decided on the Sony Vaio TX series which has an 11" screen and weighs 1.25kg (carbon fibre no less) but I have a problem. Maybe I'm being dim but I cant see any mention of a wired ethernet connection. I will NEED this. Can anyone confirm that the TX series has a proper old school ethernet adaptor?
Many thanks in advance
