Had these 5mm spacers lying around for a few weeks so decided to whack them on today as well as cleaning the arches, cleaning the wheels, painting the calipers and fitting a new off side drive shaft.

Cheers guys.

The springs are better than they were but not where i'd like them. I even weighted the back with the heaviest things I could find, a couple of FF 172 wheels.

nice, does it make a difference? Wouldn't try it on mine mind, as its slammed, and i reckon the fronts could 'grab' the arches on lock

Not really driven it to be honest Gaz. I went for a quick spin and it did seem a little more sure footed and direct.

It is more for looks though than anything. I need to make up for the lack of lowness.

Looks good mate, i always thought they looked a bit odd sat inside as standard. How much were the spacers? I wonder if it'll make a difference on ours... if we ever get those strut tops off.

20 sheets old bean. We need to have another crack at those strut tops.

With what! we ruined that fookin key. I might get some lube on the badgers this weekend. you still got that anal-ease?

Im running 5mm spacers with 205/50 tyres and et38 wheels at the front on my cup mate...

15's though? I've heard of this happening on cups with a serious drop on 16's with 205's thats all?

Yeah 15's mate. Hmm, not sure on how it would work on a 182.

Going back to 195 track tyres and taking the spacers out before the weekend though, tbh it handles better without.
