Anyone got an idea how much a replacement plip/key is from a dealer?

Would imagine it will probably be close to £200...seriously! Sister used to drive a scenic and she had to get a replacement key and that is what she was officially quoted...as far as I remember...could be wrong, but brace yourself for a shock.

I'd ring the dealer but i'm at work atm lol, I can imagine it won't be cheap.

I'm guessing a normally cut key would be fine for unlocking the car?

I received a quote last week from my local Renault dealer (Orpington) for £150. £90 to have the key cut and £60 to have the chip programmed.

About half ann hour usualy labour to progam it.

Orpington eh? Looked at a few Reno's there a while back. I'm only 10 mins away from that dealer, I'm in Petts Wood

Ah, local-ish then. I'm based in Plumstead, buy I'm sure Orpington is my nearest dealer. Might be wrong.

ah over near Woolwich? that right? I wouldn't imagine that's your nearest dealer tbh matey, but if it is, it's a pretty good one. Also two around Beckenham, one sales one parts/work

£140 from my local dealer in Belfast, though I know a chap at service in there so working out around £90 quid.

Yeah near the lovely Woolwich. Actually there's a Renault dealer in Beckenham which is a little nearer. Might give them a try.
