Speakers?

Okie Dokie,

I need some new speakers, bookshelf or floorstanding.

They will be used alongside a good old vintage technics amp, and used for home HiFi.. and bedroom DJ'ing.

About 150 notes to spend,

Reccomend?

Can be ebay/second hand also.

A review from 05 but should give some reference. I've always gone for Wharfedale or B&W.

For some decent monitor speakers if you DJ a lot try Tannoy Reveals.

Are the morduant short's loud? i want some kick, they look quite small??

i've got a set of MS 902i's here running off an 80 w amp and there pretty loud

i bought them over xmas so i got them for 100 quid

i had the 902's before them but the bass port used to whistle with the bass.

the quality is not bad and you get a fair bit of bass of them (but i've got mine backed up with a sub)

can have them bi-amped if your feeling brave
