Sport Rocket Cover & Hammerite!!

2 Questions:

1. Is the rocket cover over the engine easy to spray? Just a case of colour coding like the rear bump strip i did on the clio? Was gonna do it to a pearlescent black to match the car..... Any ideas??

2. Also im gonna do the brakes callipers today and have brought some hammerite. Is it better to remove them as i did when i changed the pads, or better to take my time and evenly, but carefully paint on to them?
