spray painting the tacky black plastics...?

  Italian 3.2 V6
hey, there are a few areas around the clio that have a tacky black plastic, around and on the wing-mirrors, surrounding the fog lights, the cs grill, on the centre of the rear bumper etc etc, lets the car down, i have to say:(, now has any1 spray painted these parts? im thinking in anthracite or gloss black... to go with same colour as the cars alloys. Now is spray painting these parts an easy task (DIY) ?

i think it would make the car look sooo much better!

you need some black to break up the colour a bit imo. colour coding everything would look awful.

i bin thinking of doing that, would you need to sand the areas to rough it up, or just primer straight on?

No offence p4ers but if you arent sure then you REALLY shouldnt be doing it to the exterior of your car! Find something you want to colour code, buy another of it off ebay then use it as a test. If you get it looking how you want then fit it to your car otherwise bin it and move on.

As for techniques on painting im sorry i cant help in that department but im sure others can.
