But if you are scene enough to want a "stance" car there are plenty of things better suited than a mk2 Clio. Practically everything with a vw badge for starters.

Why be a sheep? Car shows would be a lot more boring if it was just The likes of VW.

In the northeast I only know of one other mk3 that's been done which is a big reason why I like my car, because its different.

I read your post just fine. But I suppose you're right, and the numerous other forums that have sacked you off are wrong.

Certainly doesnt appear so from your posts, but I guess it just goes to show how easy it is to misinterpret the written word.
Wont pretend to be too bothered that you missed the key part though where I was saying how much more important proper maintenance is to how these cars drive rather than throwing new parts at a car.

Am banned from one forum that Im aware of and IIRC someone said the person who banned me has now been booted off anyway, so not sure what the numerous ones you are on about are? (unless you are going to class stuff like the points based temporary bans that people on here get for minor rule infractions?) But I have been made admin of numerous forums, so I guess it just goes to show that you cant really take whether one forum admin likes or dislikes you as much of a definitive answer as going by your logic that forum admins somehow must always get it right surely you should now massively change your opinion of me now you know that multiple forums have asked me to help run them? No thought not, you would only be interested in something if it happened to support what you want to believe, which is the main difference between you and me
If you post a lot on a forum, and you do so only concerned with being accurate and helpful and not with trying to fit in or be part of any clique etc, then it can go either way, some admins think "wow, what a useful resource to have on the forum, we should keep hold of this guy" and some think "this guy isnt trying to fit in so we should get rid of this guy", and some think a bit of both and PM you asking you to change how you post, and some run a points system which can end up with controversial users banned even if the admin dont specifically want that to happen, all depends on what people feel is more important to their particular forum I guess. Even the one forum I am banned form I still have some very good friends I met on there who will no doubt be friends for a very long time, so to me its still beneficial I was on there even if the admin didnt appreciate it.

It's not difficult, you'll probably forget more mechanical knowledge than most people on here will have in their entire life time. But when giving advice, especially if it's critique, you don't have to be smarmy with it. Which you were, and normally are.

Well yes of course, talking about technical threads for example (which is my main motivation for using forums, all this chit chat stuff is ok for passing time but of no real importance to me) if someone else posts the correct answer first to a question and there isnt anything more to add then it will be them that posts last.

But in the case of chatty threads with people like yourself where you are just trolling, if you make some vague fishing for a response comment like your silly chasing my tail comment then its likely that will be the last post as I dont tend to bother replying to that sort of thing, but if asked a direct question like you just did I am always courteous enough to reply, so in that case by definition the answer will come after the question and as I wont respond with a similarly pointless question back to you as Im not interested enough about you to want to question you unless its on a specific subject like your car etc, so there its the nature of the trolling that dictates if the troll comment or response comes last.

I havent changed anything I have said, you have clearly not been reading my posts correctly if you think that.

I said I dont think a clio is a good choice for a "scene" car, which is still my opinion, and I said I think they make an excellent trackday car you can run on a budget which is still my opinion, any difference you think you have spotted is either in your head or minor semantics.

I'm very happy to admit when I am actually wrong, you clearly dont understand me at all if you think otherwise, im OCD about things being accurate so if someone else genuinely corrects something I am saying that was a mistake I am greatful to it not argumentative about it, but when its a matter of opinion you are naive if you think any large group of people (including me or not) starting out with different viewpoints will ultimately all agree that there is a "right" answer.

Agreed, there is too much moderation on the net in general rather than too little IMHO.

People will disagree in life, not a problem, often seeing other peoples views (even very stupid ones) and thinking about their motivation for posting them is quite a valid way to learn about certain aspects of human behaviour.
