I recently purchased a second hand standard air filter box for 172 II. This is to replace the induction kit fitted by the previous owner.
Looking at the underside of the box there is two air inlets.
Still in place is an air feed pipe that runs between the passenger head light and battery. I assume there should be another air feed pipe for the remaining inlet? If so it’s been removed, and I can’t see where this pipe should terminate.
If anyone could point in me in the right direction it would be very much appreciated.
