Standard 182 Airbox cold feeds?

  Meg 300Cup
Just received my standard 182 airbox, I've taken the pipercross induction off and I can only see 1 cold air feed next to the battery, but the box has a second hole on the bottom, is there a cold feed missing? Or am I being special lol

its where the accoustic valve wouldve connected to its not an important part most people remove them and plug them or use as a second feed

Ok cool, so I take it because there's no hose or bung in the second hole, it's sucking in the hot air just like my old filter at the moment?

if its right by your engine then yes.. haha i had same issue when i got standard intake to replace my k&n

Where can I get the plug to fill it? Or should I just get some 70mm ducting and run a second feed to the grill?

whichever is best for you dont think makes difference either way i just made a template out of some pvc plastic and siliconed it on took about 5 mins

You do have a hose missing if you're referring to the one on the underside of the box.

It's a shorter hose and just sits in the metal bracket next to the battery,
the one on the side of the box is the one that connects to the acoustic valve.

So I dont even have the main CAF?
Just the one that runs past the battery to the acoustic valve, which doesn't open until 3k revs iirc?

So really, I do need to run the main feed

Fml lol

The main feed is the one in the side of the box, in front of the battery, that connects to the acoustic valve.

The one from underneath is a secondary feed that connects to nothing,
it just sit under the main feed and gets it's air from the front grill.

Just get some CAF ducting and make your own.
