Standard box cost?

As per title I bought a 172 with a magnex catback. In short it is a pile of ****. It rattles and squeaks and is just too loud for me oh and twin 3.5" out of a clio looks naff.

Now I wannt to go back to a nice quiet 172. How can I do this?

How much is the standard?

Oh and if anyone wants a magnex catback free of charge in the north east and has a standard system and wants to pay to have this fitted onto yours and the standard on to mine then i am up for that providing it's in good nick.

sell you standard 182 system, looks far better and only takes an hour to fit/cut out holes on bumper

Money is a bit tight at the moment so short of swapping with someone who has a standard and wants something with a bit more bang I'm not sure i can afford a whole new system.

Will a standard backbox on the magnex centre pipe be any better?

I've just bought a std backbox from renault cheltenham for £110. I painted all the welds though to try and prevent it dropping off AGAIN in 20k miles!

The stealth from k-tec is alot more expenise because it's a cat back s/s system. Depends how long your going to keep the car tbh

I sold my old Magnex back box on ebay and made roughly £120, just for the box !! Dont give the thing away you fool lol

Ktec stealth is a lot quieter.

I have a cat back k-tec stealth, and it is quite a bit louder then the OEM system, but not silly loud.

Well recommend imo.

K-tec do a sporty one and a normal one but the sporty is a lot cheaper??
