I thought your not supposed to use old pads on new discs?

^ you're not and there's no incentive to bother trying when you can get new pads as cheaply as you can

Yeah true, around £150 seems to be the price for rear brakes, seems expensive in comparison to alot of other cars..

i think it's the discs that cost the money:dapprove:

try GSF and ECP though - i don't know if either sell them (would have thought so though) - they're likely to be amongst the cheapest and best quality and you might have a branch of one or t'other fairly local to you

Rang around and quite a few people recommend purchasing non genuine Renault parts as they are half the price and just as good, anyone recommend decent companies to look at? Brembos were mentioned...

Yeah prices were higher, although they did say that non-genuine parts are just as good and they have never had a problem with them.
