Starting problems 2008 clio dynamique

Last week, the starter motor only clicked when trying to start the car. Jump leads solved the issue. The car has started properly all week. last night, nothing.... the power drained and the engine would not start. releasing the key brought power back (headlights bright etc) but second try, nothing. jump start nothing. tried rocking the car in gear for another jump start - nothing. this morning, car started first time with spare car and then again with primary key. Heavy mist (weather) last night and this morning. Battery is about three years old but tests ok-previous battery exploded (end of battery blew off!). engine stopped on the motorway three weeks ago and ignition coil, vacuum pipe, plugs and injector replaced and car checked out by main renault dealer techies. I am open to suggestions.

One hour later - car will not start with either key. All we get is the starter clicking but not engaging!
