Steelies-Idea but need advice

  Clio RS 182
Hi guys,

I've had a set of black steel wheels knocking around for a while now, had them fitted to my MINI, but haven't been able to shift them for some reason soooo....

I've been thinking about the possibilities of fitting them to the Clio. I've checked out AlloyWheels.com as a reference point to understand the bore diameter; the MINI is 56.1, the Clio is 60.1 - is it possible to enlarge the bore? They're a specific size of 56.1, fitting spigots is not an option unfortunately :(

I'm thinking if these can fit then I'll get them banded, paint them all nice and glossy. I think they'll look

Depends if the inside lip of the centre bore gives the steel rim extra strength.... I looked at getting 15" GM steelies but they need the centre machining out and it would take too much off the inner lip to cause a possible weakness :(
