Hi Guys wondering if anybody can tell me if my rack has had it, Jacked the car up to check it over after fitting new inner/outer tie rods, driveshafts, brakes lines last week
once the car was in the air i noticed when turning the wheels there a clunk, never noticed it before cant be heard while the car is on the ground only in the air
Nothing is loose, inner joints, rack mounts are good i removed the outer track rods from the hub and pushed and pulled on them and the noise was there still so is nothing to do with top mounts, CV joints etc has to be rack related.
steering is tight and precise in the car on the road, so i don't know? just ignore it maybe
