Steering wheel grip question...

Car  2002 White RS 172.
Hey all,
Some of you may remember me from last year, i was lining up to get a 182 cup, but in the end i was able to get myself a Focus RS instead :)

My friend has just recently purchased a 182 with cup packs (and very nice it is too) and theres a tear in the rubber grips on the steering wheel (the grip parts at 10 and 2 o'clock), is there an easy way for him to replace this part? Or does it mean a totally new steering wheel? Also, if anyone knows the costs involved that'd be great!

Cheers in advance.

You can't get the grips replaced, most people get the wheel retrimmed instead of looking for a new wheel :)

Almost everyone on heres rubber grips have gone like that, my dads on his 172 have, he's not best pleased.
