Steering wheel thumb pads?

Been reading on the buying guide about the thumb pads and how they can peal off. I have found a 05 plate 182 cup and it has no thumb pads and does not seem to have ever had any. Is this normal or has the wheel been changed at some point?

182 Cup wheel is a cheaper version - same as the Dynamique I think. Lasts better than the Renaultsport version though!

Actually on looking at the picture it also does not have the plate on the bottom of the T to say sport or whatever it says.

It wouldn't. Cups don't.

As Inferno says, 182 cups don't come with the Renaultsport steering wheel.
