Stereo specialists or similar

Ok ive completley given up and realised im defeted, so need somewhere to take the car to in order to sort the stereo and now the arieal connection out. So does anyone know where I can take it close to home (south Wales) that wont charge the earth.

first thing being the radio aeriel is in a mess the wires that I cant do anything with them ive tries splicing them but cant do it and the wire is getting shorter, so dont wanna try anymore

Secondly the radio keeps switching itself off works for like 20sec then crackels and shuts down but the lights stay on the h/u, one of the wires in the back look as if its been cut and just tapped back together also an extra cable (black) has been taped to it dunno if its an extra earth ( thats just me guessing tho)

Ok, why has the aeriel cable been cut, was it damaged in some way?

Secondly, if the cable(s) have been cut and then just taped back up, do you have no way of permanently joining them, like a connector or a thru-crimp?

They were in such a mess that it had to be cut to be able to see what i was trying to do

Already posted a response to one of your threads, how can anyone offer any definite advice or make any informed diagnosis without the relevant information.....To my knowledge no one on here is psychic.....

The fact your female has no bearing on your ability to convey information, although from what I've read in your later threads regarding the aerial connection, it may be an idea to leave the work for someone who knows what they are doing....

I would say your best course of action would be to register on TA & introduce yourself as a girl....Then in the section marked 'general car audio', request help regarding these issues....I would expect members will offer to pop round & sort your stereo for tea & cakes or beer tokens....

Thanks for your advice, which ive taken on board and as my original post said ive realised ive been defeted and thats why im in the look out for someone who knows what there doing.
