still shiny....

  t3 corolla 116bhp
over christmas holidays back in NI i gave the old derv bus a few coats od srp and a single coat of EGP before coming back to engerland.

That was about december/jan time and we've had some pretty rotten weather with snow and all that. Since then i've only been washing it, (twice in the last 2 months if even), but it still comes up really shiny and is still beading the water brilliantly. So i thought i'd wh0re a few pics up. I know quality isnt great but it looks much nicer in the metal.

should egp last this long btw?

Cheers J

I seem to hear about loads of people saying "a few coats/layers of SRP" which if we are talking about Super Resin Polish doesnt really make sense. You only "layer" a sealant or a wax surely?

spose you're right yeah

when i say a few layers/coats, i mean doing all the panels once, leave for a while then do again before putting the sealant on

It does leave behind some protection...

Best way to use SRP though is to "work" it into the panel 'til all you have left is a bit of clear residue to wipe off straight away, rather than a coating

Your dci looks lovely though, I've always liked it :)
