STOP SERV & Battery light on.

As above. The SERV/Airbag light has been on for ages mind (since I removed my airbag)

Had a new battery, Alternator and Aux belt at the start of the year. The car drives and pulls as well as ever.

Any ideas? It is due a service now also.

Have you checked the plug of the back of the alternator? See if the wire has snapped?

Not yet, I'll have a look when I get back mate. I'll also plug the RS tuner in to see if that throws anything up.

From the old threads I've looked through it's the alternator, or the connector on the alternator, or the battery.

As you've had a new alternator recently I'd be surprised if it wasn't linked in some way to that.

Does your RS Tuner show what voltage the battery has?

I don't think the RS Tuner shows the battery voltage?

Yeah I had a new alternator, battery fitted a K-tec late January this year!

would have popped round yesterday if i had seen this with my battery tester hope its nothing too serious mate

RS Tuner does show live voltage connect it - click the live data button and then start the car - will show the voltage
