Strangest Thing You Have Found Clearing Out The Car?

  DCI 80
So I've just been clearing through the back of the car and found some Spanish A-level books (No idea where they came from) and a pre-historic printer.. Couple of quid also! Win!

Anyone else found anything remotely interesting they were unaware of whilst having a clear out?

A casino chip from Casino De Paris (Monte Carlo) Not sure what it's worth but it's huge. Found an unused tampon and a load of chewed sweets in my 1.6 clio.

Behind the heater panel on a bog standard mk4 golf GTI I found pepper spray. You'd never get to it in a hurry without taking the panel off so how or why it was there I haven't got a clue.

A boiled sweet under the rear seats and a massive long screwdriver in the engine bay,
it was jammed up next to the battery, looked like part of the car until jiggled it and it came out.

I found dead, hard and smelly Royal Python (Pet Snake) in my 182 once.. That's probably high on my list of strange things..

  Petrol Blue 182.
CD changer was full of CD's when I collected the ph1. Chap didn't even realise it had a one, they must have been from the previous owner to him!

Was behind the rear door card under the seatbelt reel.. Went hunting after the smell. It was awful..

I don't know how it got in there. Previous owner I'm guessing..

when I was a taxi driver I found a woman's left shoe even though the last costumer was 2 men.
Also found a bag full of E's (took to cop shop) also found phone, bags and keys, but the best by far was when i found a pair of dirty knickers and a used condom(I never did find out who left them lol

Nothing of interest in any of my own cars.

Punter's cars at work contain some strange things, once found a couple of spare pairs of boxers and a few copies of the daily sport in the spare wheel well of a Skoda (that's where the colour code is) that was owned by a strange chap in his 40s who still lived with his mum. Obviously popped out in the car whenever he fancied a w**k.

I found half an ounce of weed in my first car (1.1 saxo) years ago just stuffed under the gearstick gaiter! Didn't suprise me at all looking back at where I brought the car from.

Found loads of good stuff in cars that got traded in at the garage when I've been pdi checking them.

A selection of tools over the years in various cars. Tapes/cd's, coins, sticky sweets and pennies stuck in them or pens. In one of my old XR3i's i found a small bag with some wraps in it under the gear stick gator.

My old mr2 always stank of weed. Never found it though. Found a tiny interior screw in the gear stick mechanism, had been blocking off first gear... A clutch and gearbox later mind you!

A customer brought a car back in to me a few weeks back as there was a fault with the rear seatbelt buckle, I took it to the workshop and stood and watched the mechanic strip the back seats out to fit a new buckle, finding a shotgun round in the process... And a toothbrush!
