Hello everyone,

Its Stuarts dad here, Im in the middle of cleaning his car while hes on holiday, I thought you might like to see some pics, theyre not the best as the weather not that great but here they are anyway.

Its not finished yet as I still have to apply the wax.

Yes AJR that is Stuarts GFs car in front.

And Chris no the car hasnt been to Mark Fish although I have heard Stuart mention that name, the exhaust was a stailess steel Renault option on the Mk1 V6 and the previous owner had it fitted because he didnt like the way the mild steel one was showing signs of surface rust.

Youre a bit of a nice dad, washing his car for him while hes away! I wouldnt let my parents near my car, theyd probably use washing up liquid!

Hello,

I wouldnt go as far as to say that I have used washing up liquid, I used Autoglym car wash, Super resin polish, 1coat of Extra Gloss, 2coats of Meguiars #21 and I have still to give it a couple of coats of Pinnacle wax.

A follow up, I have just been out to the garage and the #21 is clearly still working as the car had a bit of a "wet look" about it when I finished, it now has a SERIOUS wet look, Im not sure now if I should wax it because it looks so good. What do you think?

Also, thanks on Stuarts behalf to Shaun for supplying the various bits & pieces to Stuart, the #21 is by far the best product I have ever used.

errrr well you could put it that way _simon_, its certainly the best car by far that I have ever driven which includes Imprezas, Evos, etc etc, its the sound that does it for me I have never come accross a standard production car that has such an amazing sound.

Leave the #21 for 24 hours to allow it to set up and bond then top with some wax.

What kind of car do I drive Simon, well its nothing as outrageous as the V6 its a Vauxhall Signum, but Im working on getting a V6...........one day
