Are you putting the standard door handles back on mate? Apart from that and the rear lights I love it! ;)

not sure about door handles yet! and i had the others on for a bit but like to chop and change, so no doubt itl see the others on at somepoint lol

whiskerz - just like the standard look! looks more raw nd aweosme :rasp: ties in with the splitter and carbon badge aswell!

Looks awesome, did the wrap the diamond yourself? I've received my carbon fibre vinyl today and might give it a go in the morning.

not much updates to be had! well pic wise anyway. just a pile of small bits and peices tbh! recent stuff -

K tec upper and lower engine mounts
Powerflex dogbone
New bottom brackets for the bumper
Clear fogs back in
Painted badges

wheels also go away next week to get powdercoated. still unsure on colour :(

Cheers mate! and i changed that when i put on K-tec engine mounts. Feels alot more solid than before!

Bits and peices starting to come together now! Heres my fuel rail gaurd, Engine mount, Throttle body & bracket for throttle cable! painted in Vauxhall minstral grey. Looks good in the light tbh! upper and lower inlets will be painted the same once they have been matched :)

and i get my f1's back from the powdercoaters next week too :cool:

Cool I just went and bought one of Kam racing is the mount easy enough to fit? that fuel rail guard and mount cover looks smart as f**k in that colour are they powder coated or painted?

what mount? an uprated upper one? took me about 5 mins to change :) and cheers! i just painted them with a rattle can lol :D all engine bits im doing are that colour, and the nuts + bolts beadblasted! dunno what colour to do the rocker cover though.

Right! fairly big update here id say! all started last saturday when i pulled out the drive and it went bang...so new gearbox it is! ill start from the start ;)

Friday afternoon i collected my freshly powdercoated f1s! and some new rubber

saturday i fitted new pads on the rear and stripped it out for crail on the sunday. pulled out my drive with a massive bang from the gearbox and some nice crunching etc...
got it back in the drive and a fair bit of inspection came back to the passenger side of the gearbox in the diff, long storey short it was fubard!

so got it all out that night

got a new gearbox on the monday, but the bearing on the end of the drive shaft had fell inside and lost all the needle bearings when we got it out :dead: got 16 needle bearing so far...

with the subframe etc all out i thaught id make the most of it! so painted it all up and got powerflex bushes for the lot! rear arb ones where such a pain!

and now its just waiting to go back together! have sand blasted callipers and calliper hangers and spraying them up too, so they look fresh when its all back together! ill get some pics up of them when i have time.

should have my sabelt wheel soon aswell :D

bits to get next - Rear ARB, Solid top mounts + finish matchiing my inlets then fit all my painted engine bits :)

not too sure after that!
