Sunroof Blanking Plate MK1?

[Final Maxim]

sunroof was leaking, so i stripped it down and found it had already been sealed up, so i tried to seal the outside better and also went over the inside, but today i noticed a big puddle inside the car again. Think im gonna just get rid of the sunroof completely, ill cut out the s**t thats holding it to the roof and put in a blanking plate.

can you buy them from somewhere premade? one that bonds in? really dont wanna weld a platye in as its so much fillerwork that i simply cant be arsed to do!

I got one for my hybrid a few years ago but cannot remember who from. It was from a small firm on c16v and paddy now

Hence why they dont make cars with sun roofs now !

same with my mk1 mate, bathroom sealant around the outside and inside sunroof when i opened it did the trick and seems to be holding up... was considering ditching mine too!
