Yeah, first time out on the new setup, looking forward to seeing how it goes on the softer road spec springs as well on the ASTs before I stick the stiffer rates onHi Jamie,

The ASTs transformed the Trophy even with the standard springs. Car ran much flatter. Stiffer springs again improved things so I don't think you'll be disappointed :up:Yeah, first time out on the new setup, looking forward to seeing how it goes on the softer road spec springs as well on the ASTs before I stick the stiffer rates on
It has Mark,The car has changed a bit then Craig!
What night are you up next week?It ran on B14's for a year or so before they went on, Similar spring rates but the damping on the ASTs is miles ahead.
Hi mate, I don't think there was I'm afraid. Picture below of it in jamsport, but that doesn't show much more. I'm led to believe when it was done it was more of a bespoke build, but certainly more common now. I do believe there was a magazine feature of it a couple of years back, if I find the cover page photo I'll send it over, I don't have it on the phone....Great reading, I've stayed up late reading this whole thread tonight, I am looking at doing the supercharger build on mine later in the year. Do you know if there was an original build thread to go with the conversion? or if you have any other photos of the supercharger set up you could email over to me?
Thanks.
Finding wheels to suit the car is quite difficult I think personally. I'm still a speedline fanboy though, so what do I know! Lol!Yeah I like them.... looked at prorace 1.2s because they were cheap, but just didn't look right Mark. Plus the deal I got in these was unbelievable so it was a no brainier.... I think the black works well. Like you I'm a gloss man, but unfortunately they only make them in matt... once i give the car a clean and get tyres shone up a bit I'll be happier....

That's what I'm thinking..... things an animal, down to same lap times as trophy even with Fraser in the passenger seat and it has lots more to give..... needs to be much lighter though..... much lighter! You've got a trailer. Full track car no questions 😂
Cheers mate, yeah 2hrs makes a hectic time!!Looked superb tonight, shame didn't get a chance to chat though
1:03 tonight mate so not quick enough for the car FLOLWhat lap times were you doing tonight? @Fraser.J. causes a lot of smoke to come out my brakes! But he did also give me some handy tips so that's ok
Still would have left many eating your dust though!1:03 tonight mate so not quick enough for the car FLOL
Absolutely it's a sub minute car. I'm braking way to early coming into duffus and hairpin, that will take 2 seconds off straight away. It's just learning the brakes as they are ferocious and I have the lock ups worry but all does f el goodSame as me then, get your foot down more!
Once your used to it there's gotta be another couple of seconds there I'd think. How many miles have you done in it now, 150?
Problem last night was you couldn't get going. Every time you got clear track, two bends later you had caught someone who wouldn't pull over 🙈Still would have left many eating your dust though!
