Yep, gonna sort out the positive camber is my first priority, then will get some spacers. Could probs get 20mm at the back, get bugger all on at the front though. Thanks for your comments lads

Hmmm i reckon i could
get 20mm in at the back easily but gonna have to have a lil measure at the front as i doubt i will get 20mm in there. The et of these wheels are lower than the canastas though. Maybe 10 mm or 15 at a push possibly? Btw good shout with the grill. Looks good. Wonder what an anthracite one would look like? Might have to have a go on photoshop lol

Right, finally......

So glad to have them on Took a while but they were fitted today. Got a little bit of posh camber though :s

Gonna get it tracked tomorrow though so see what the damage is, then will look for either spacers or try and get some camber bolts made up to solve it possibly.

Cheers man springs are settled nicely now so so just need some spacers for the backs nowhere near as shiny as yours though looking mean in them new pics btw!

Looks great Kieran! We have similar offset. Believe your leggera's sit out 1.5m more than my Turni's and I put 20mm Eibac hubcentrics on the back of mine and it sits great at the back. I could do with 5mm at the front though. 15mm if we had the wider S archs.



Click the pictures to enlarge and I have a protective lip on the tyre round the alloy that makes it pop out more.

Only just realised how reflective my car looks in those shots. Almost as if the car is transparent/made of glass lol.

Little bit of an update. Managed to get the positive camber sorted today and now totally love my car feels completely different! Turns out i had +2.5 degree on both front wheels and 11degree toe out.....no wonder it handled shockingly!!!

also for anyone wanting to know....there is no info on here about camber adjust on mk3 ap coilovers.....they are in fact Camber adjustable to a point. The top bolt hole on the strut is slightly wider so there is room to play. You can also get camber bolts for this car....they are the H&R triple c bolts....just some knowledge to help you out

i also had my front and rear diamonds out and wrapped them today and will put them on and get photos tomorrow!! All in all....very good day!!!!!

Lol yeah pic 10....rolling high! In regards to ride hight, you could either buy springs or get coilovers. I have coilovers and would choose them over springs any day! With 17's, the car is gonna be higher off the ground anyway than if u had 16's so in that case, i would definetly say coilovers because with springs it will look like roller skates

Cheers kiefer. Yeah, it just hadnt been fitted with consideration that camber was slightly adjustable. Thanks dan, umm iirc it has 2 coils left at the front then down fully at the back. Not sure what that is in terms of mm's but im pretty happy with it (minus the spacers which i will buy next month).....I can finally enjoy it now!

Yeah fine so far mate, not hit one yet! But i know for sure it wont go over them triangle/pyramid bumps. I dont have a back box though, i bet it might scrape if i did though

ah thats cool mate. im thinking about dropping mine but not sure how far to go, my uni likes the pyramid speed bumps you see :'( will probably just aim for around 40mm

Yeah the roads are horrendous where i live as well mate. If you can get 45mm spring that would be ok. I reckon if u went as low as me u would defo have to avoid them speed bumps. Or u could get coilovers and adjust accordingly

yeh coilovers would be ideal but not sure i could justify the price atm! not planning on going too mad anyway, just not that happy with the standard clio height

Your pics are making me want to go lower at the front. I think 1 coil was 5mm if I recall the mechanic correctly. I find the middle 2nd catalytic converter is the lowest hanging point in the car and is the first to scrape. Never go to the Shires retail park in Leamington, absolute MONSTER speed bumps. Standard ride height new Corsa's look like they're just a few mm from scraping on them let alone coil'd Clios!

Also do you remember how much it cost to colour code your side, front and back strips? Not as noticeble on my black clio but I still want it done.

Get a piccy of under the car Yeah, i had to find my way out of a multi storey last night because the up ramps were to steep You should test how low you can go and get some pics mate......then put them in your new project thread

Yeah, it was £120 to do the fronts, sides and backs. Think this varies a lot depending on who does it and if you know them or not bud.

Thanks for the info. I'll try and get under the car and see if there is any marks. My mates carjack I borrowed won't even fit under the car anymore so I'm unable to lower it myself further (guessing the wheel has to come off lol?) and I might start on a thread tonight as I have the day off and bugger all to do lol.

Drive onto a plank of wood and you should be able to get a jack under it yeah get it started mate, would like to see the progress!
