Suspension Query, quite shocking...

I'm looking to get my car lowered again, this time by -60mm with a set of these and i am under the impression that i will need to get some uprated shortened shocks which is where i'm hoping these will come into play, can anyone confirm whether im right and the shock absorbers will do the right job?

and please no suggestions for me to get coilovers, or turinis for that matter ;-)

oh, and if the shocks arent right can anyone point me in the direction of some which are, and which dont cost an arm and a leg

also if it helps its a mighty mk2 ph1 1149cc 8v powerhouse...
