TA-technic help?

Hi, recently bought a set of TA-technic coil-overs for my 1.2 16v clio, my friend fitted them an just wanted to know what do people do for the top mounts?
standard shocks have a plate with bearings in it to allow them to turn, the TA-technic come with a small metal plate, was wondering if you ment to take the plate with the bearing of an put them on the coil-overs ?
