Talk to me, new battery!

Currently sat waiting for RAC recovery, 99% certain battery which I imagine isn't covered under my warranty, what would you go for and where from? Ideally somewhere like Halfrauds so I can pick it up tomorrow but open to suggestions!

Or take in a load of halfords receipts... and a membership letter to cliosport.net, and explain your a hobby mechanic and ask politely if it was possible to get a trade card please...

You have to have a load of Halfords receipts for that also

So anyway everyone keeps saying halfords, so I assume there's a battery in particular? If so, which?

Boggo standard halfords one just go in and look at the flip chart

needs to be the right size, capacity, cranking ampage etc... then decide between halfords or more expensive Bosch one.

Theres a thread somewhere, if your lucky yes its true, i took my CS membership, about 40 halfords receipts, and said can i speak to the manager.... "oh hi mate, erm basically im a hobby mechanic and i belong to a few car forums, ive been told by a few people that if i brought my membership letter in and a few receipts there might be a possibility you can help me out with a trade card?..." "yeah ok"

Mechaical stuff only in for discounts, but oil batterys and bulbs you save fairly drastically...

btw an 065 is the recommended battery for a clio but an 075 is slightly bigger but will still fit and gives slightly better cranking amps ect ..... (but not to much to blow anything)

you could have a billion Ah battery and it still not blow anything

Ok my bad lol so as long as it phiscly fits and had a high anough cranking figure it will be fine ?
