Aye they have Adam, very happy with them thanks again.
Did another couple of hours today (if that tbh) but forgot to take the camera so back to phone pictures again!
Ended up with all the aux belt stuff removed and the gearbox split off
As you can see, the chances of the timing being right are very very minimal, tippex and the tensioner in the wrong place
Some neatly piled crap
And a small selection of the parts that will be going to the scrappies
Thats the black ph1 done now, literally nothing left on it that we need. Only waiting on the v5 coming back so we can then scrap it.

Next thing we need to do to this is get ordering silly little things like new subframe bolts and the like. That's about the extent of this weeks plans on it!

Well this has progressed very slowly. Between working, family and knockhill we've done very little of late. We did order a load of odds and sods from West Reno and that's about that.
Progress will start again on Sunday for a few hours. Probably.

So er yeah. We kinda forgot about this. Well I did, remembered one day when I was driving past the garage and thought "that would make a good unit..."
Anyway, after working on our own cars, others cars, working for actual money and touching each other we had a spare morning today and did a few hours work to it.
Got a few panels fitted on
Chucked the pedal box on
And placed the rear wiring in and hooked it to the lights.
There will be a good few wiring changes once its up and running but for now we want to get it going and then adjust some things.

Next jobs are fuel tank and pump then brake lines, axle and then start on the front end.

Been mega busy really. We've managed to clear the decks a little but still a lot going on. We only managed yesterday because I had to pull out of a track day which freed up the day. We've really not spent many hours on it at all

f**king hell, September was the last update?! We need to sort our s**t out.
Oh wait, we have.
On Monday we popped down in the morning for 'a couple of hours' and came back about 8 hours later! We dropped the fuel tank and put the ph1 one in (different pump and lines), put the axle on and rear shocks. We didn't have rear springs at the unit so it dropped mega low!
We then put the front end on, subframe, hubs, shocks etc and put wheels on so for the first time in our ownership it sat on its wheels No pics at that stage as it was pitch black!
So freshly motivated we went back down again today and did more bits and pieces. Most brakes lines are on (missing/lost one), rear springs, brake vac hose on, micro adjustments to the front end, dash in (ish) and the unit cleared out and sorted into scrap, spares and need piles. Also fitted my front winter wheels that Dave very kindly painted for me. Summers were, er, well used.
Got a couple of bits to see if they are saveable and then an order is going into Adam and engine will be sent off for a few wee bits, nothing fancy just maintenance. Coming together nicely now

It's going silver and red!
Some pieces ground off but doesn't look like anything will need welded on. We'll update here when it's done. I can see cable ties being useful
