One of my laps from my May 2012 trip to the Nurburgring.

Feel free to comment, give tips and advise.... I am always open to learn how to go quicker there!

kind of impossible to advise when you can't hear the engine or tyres! looks smooth, just lacking aggression, but as i say its hard to say, plus the ring is one place you don't really want to push 100%, it gets expensive LOL!

So difficult to watch with no sound as there's no concept of speed with out noise.

It is frustrating that my GoPro is so crap at picking up sound. Seems to have an annoying 'clicking' sound throughout recordings. I really should look into trying to fix it or use an external mic.

As regards to the driving, I try and stay as smooth as I can, as it seems to yield quicker speeds/times with me. I was pushing as hard as I felt was safe, but as people have mentioned, hard to tell how 'hard' due to lack of noise.

All i can advise is you just take your time, dont go all red mist and hell for leather. The place takes many many laps to remember, let alone learn. And keep an eye on your mirrors, some cars will be travelling far faster, and there is nothing worse than being held up by someone who isnt paying attention.

Otherwise, just enjoy, its petrolhead nirvana!

We go on the 27th an come back on the 30th but were only at the ring on the 29 th.
