Nothing particularly special, but I bought this car new in 2016, part-ex'd it a year later. Fast forward to this weekend and it turns up on the stand/area I'm marshalling at Silverstone! Spoke to the driver who knew my name, he even wanted a picture of the 2 of us in front of it too

all we had was a disco after school, we then caught the bus home

We had these in work for service & MOT today from the same guy, he's thinning out his collection and wanted them sorted to sell. The XR2 has 19k on it & the Saph has 13k, he also brought an Escort Cosworth too but I didn't get a pic of that.

I'm not sure if he is selling it now, someone might have got the wrong end of the stick. His Escort's turbo had eaten itself so it's gone off to be rebuilt, he was a bit annoyed by that as he had someone coming to film them (possibly Chris Harris). So it turns out he might have been sorting them out for that perhaps.

I see one regularly. It’s in the green colour they done, the light one. Same wheels as that one in the picture.

The fella has Lexus lights in which we’re popular when they were new. He’s out washing and waxing it all the time when I drive past.

I looked up the MOT history before and it’s passed each year but this is rotten. Both rear arches, both fronts, bonnet, boot, front of the roof.
